They still consider it a privilege to pastor in Pattaya and are as committed as ever to the spiritual emotional & physical well-being of all those GOD brings into their hearts and lives.

Mission Statement Victory Family Church

The 10-40 Window” represents a region containing sixty-one countries and more than fifty of the most spiritually impoverished nations in Asia, the Middle East and Africa, It contains 97% of the least evangelized and 82% of the poorest of the poor, including 2,7 billion, Buddhists, Hindus and Muslims. Thailand is in this window!

The worldwide religious strongholds of Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism and New Age are also located within this window. Tragically only 15% of all Christian resources and overseas missionaries serve the more than 3.1 billion souls living in this region.

Thailand is unique and strategic in S.E. Asia as the only politically ‘open’ country bordering Vietnam, Myanmar (Burma), Laos, Kampuchea (Cambodia) and China, all of which restrict the Gospel or persecute Christians to vary­ing degrees. Thailand is a launching pad for ministry to encourage, strengthen, train and empower leaders and believers in these nations, as well as Thailand. 2 Tim. 2:3

As the Pacific Rim continues to explode with economic growth, international people from around the world are drawn to Thailand. In addition to the million tourists who visit annually, it’s estimated at any given time, that close to 10,000 expatriates may be living or working within the Eastern Seaboard area where VFC is located.

There are six private English language international schools in this same area with enrollments totaling thousands of students of all ages and backgrounds from nations around the world,

Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs and many other religious groups are here PLUS every conceivable ‘alternative’ lifestyle is represented. We must do all we can to provide opportunities for God to touch all of these with His love.

OUR VISION

We believe God has a particular purpose for every individual and that success, with true and lasting happiness, is directly connected to our ability to understand and cooperate with His plan for our personal lives. We are committed to helping people find and fulfill that plan.

We also believe God has a unique purpose for each church and that Victory Family Church is specifically called to:

1. Evangelism, discipleship and Christian ministry among the international & Thai people of Pattaya and area.

2. Develop strategic ministries to help meet the spiritual and practical needs of those God has called us to serve.

3. Facilitate strategic ministry partnerships between Thai and Asian Christian ministries and international believers.

4. Provide ministry resources for Christian believers and be an “Oasis of Refreshing” for missionaries and leaders.

Thailand stands on the brink of it’s prophetic destiny, Each one of us can have a part in the unfolding and fulfillment of God’s redemptive plan for this nation and S.E. Asia. What God told Esther in her time, is just as applicable to us today.

“If you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise from elsewhere …but who knows that you’ve come to the kingdom for such a time as this and for this very occasion?”

WHAT DO WE BELIEVE

“… to set in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us.” Luke 1:1

We believe:

- In the one true and living God, eternally existing and revealed to us as the Father, Creator of all things; the Son, Jesus Christ, God incarnate; and the Holy Spirit.

- In the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, death for our sins, bodily resurrection, physical ascension, and soon coming return to this earth in power and glory.

- The Holy Scriptures are the inspired and complete revelation of God’s will concerning man’s salvation through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.

- That people are saved only through faith in God’s grace as provided through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

- In water baptism as a public declaration that a believer has died with Christ and risen with Him to walk a new life of holiness and love.

- In the unity of all true believers as the universal body of Christ regardless of denominational affiliation.

- In the celebration of the Lord’s supper as an ongoing remembrance of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection.

- In the continuing present day ministry of the Holy Spirit, including the baptism with the Holy Spirit as an experience distinct from and following the new birth.

Sunday Worship Service – Worship Team

Worship focuses on who God is, believing He is searching for those who will worship Him in Spirit and in truth.

Worship is designed by God to bring us into His presence where He can touch and refresh us with His love.

Bible Study Fellowships

Informal gatherings that focus on the what, why and how of God’s word in a variety of subject areas.

Prayer groups

Regular personal and corporate prayer plus other united city and area wide prayer events are a ministry priority.

Large selection of books, tapes and videos are available for loan. Duplication of cassette tapes and teaching materials may be possible in some cases.

Filipino Music Fellowship

Bringing Filipinos together through music for friendship evangelism, spiritual encouragement and pastoral care.

Men’s Fellowship

Informal fellowship, mutual spiritual support & prayer. Prayer walks, Outreach and Friendship evangelism among the international men of the area.

“Women of the Word”

VFC hosts & assists in special events designed to reach all international women regardless of church or non-church affiliation, for promotion of the Christian faith and the fellowship of all believers.

VFC also works with Ethnos Asia’s “Deborah Project” to help equip and empower key Christian women leaders in the restricted-access nations of Asia.
